Uzbekistan slams "information aggression"
"As Western countries marked the first anniversary of the violence in Andijon on May 13 with a renewed commitment to sanctions against the regime of Uzbek President Islam Karimov, Uzbekistan's state-controlled press lashed out at what it described as 'information aggression.' But Uzbekistan's year-old 'information war' against the West is more than a mere reflection of strained ties and isolation.
