President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov received Secretary General of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) Hamadun Ture at Oqsaroy residence. During the conversation, the sides exchanged opinions on further expansion of cooperation of Uzbekistan with ITU, solution of problems of information safety and other issues of mutual interest. Hamadun Ture visited Uzbekistan to participate in the International Summit on Information-Communication technologies, which concluded the ICT Week held in Tashkent in October.
