Kazakhstan to prohibit use of mobile phones while driving
Almaty police held training for regulating the drivers’ use of mobile phones while on the road. The enforcement of the driving law that will prohibit the use of mobile phone while driving will come into force in the next couple of days - say the state officials. Similar law was adopted in Uzbekistan last year. However, the progress regarding enforcement of the law was slow, as it is hard to track violators. As in the neighboring Kazkhstan the drivers are allowed to use the loud speaking service, speakers or Bluetooth, but should not hold the phone while driving.
