American University of Central Asia in Byshkek plans to hold Central Asia BarCamp 2008 on August 1-3. The goal of this event, a type of informal conference, is to serve as a platform for discussion among the individuals interested in development of Internet and new media. Organizers of BarCamp Asia 2008 decided to conduct series of preliminary events with the aim to popularize the BarCamp movement in Central Asia. The nearest events are BridgeCamp and VideoMob.
BridgeCamp will be conducted on the 25-26 April at the same place as BarCamp Asia 2008.
VideoMob will take place in two weeks later.
