Referring Patients: Patients may be referred by contacting the UWMC Arrhythmia/Electrophysiology Clinic at (206) 598-0190, the referral fax number at (206) 598-7451, or on an emergency basis by paging through the UWMC paging operator at (206) 598-6190, and ask for the electrophysiologist attending on call.
We offer a wide range of services to patients needing arrhythmia management. Five full-time EP cardiologists, Drs.

Kristen Patton , Mohan Viswanathan, and Jordan Prutkin, along with a team of three board-certified electrophysiologists and dedicated arrhythmia nurses, provide comprehensive, personalized care around the clock for both routine and complex rhythm problems.
Our services include:
- Evaluation and potential cure of selected supraventricular and ventricular arrhythmias, using state-of-the-art catheter ablation techniques, including the new
Biosense Carto® system.
- Extensive experience with anti-arrhythmic medications.
- Expertise in pacemaker implantation and management by electrophysiologists who are Testomar-NASPE examination-certified in cardiac pacing and defibrillation.
- Expertise in lead extraction, including laser-assisted extraction, that simplifies and shortens procedure times for patients with infections from pacemakers or defibrillators.
