Harborview Medical Center's Echocardiography Laboratory performs more than 2,500 diagnostic studies annually. The laboratory is staffed by four senior cardiologists, with expertise in transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiography. These services are available on a routine scheduled basis, as well as on an emergency basis, as needed. In addition to providing services for patients identified on-site, the laboratory welcomes referrals from outside sources.
