Whether you are an athlete, fan, or looking for a unique job opportunity in the world of sports, this panel discussion will introduce you to a variety of athletic-related career options. A wide range of careers will be covered, including sports science, athletic administration, and coaching. Learn what education and experience are necessary to be successful and how to climb the career ladder.
A representative from the Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership master's program will be on hand to answer questions about the UW graduate degree.
The event takes place at the Husky Hall of Fame in Hec Ed (Bank of American Arena). Enter through the NW or SW doors of Hec Ed.

Doug Porter's education includes graduating from the prestigious Lakeside School, completing a bachelor's degree at Occidental College, and attending Seattle University for graduate studies. Doug has coached at both the collegiate and high school levels and served as a fitness director. His current position at Lakeside School involves coordinating PE classes and coaching the track and football teams.
