This presentation will include score-raising strategies critical to acing your admissions test for graduate school, business school, law school, med school or dental school. It will also help you successfully navigate the admissions process and offer advice on developing a strong personal essay that gets you noticed. Participants will leave with a realistic application timeline. The seminar is designed to give attendees an advantage over other graduate school applicants.

Along with teaching AP and Honors English at Kamiak and Mountlake Terrace high schools--and assistant teaching Beginning and Musical Theatre at Mountlake Terrace High School--Dorian has worked as Director of the UW Drama's Writing Center, Assistant Director of UW's English Writing Center, and has also recently served on the UW Masters in Secondary Teacher Education program admissions committee for the 2008 Secondary Teacher Education entering class. Her current position, working as Graduate Programs Manager for the Seattle Kaplan Center, is helping her to reconnect with her undergraduate and graduate school alma mater as well as various departments and student organizations on the UW campus. She remembers her own trials and errors applying to graduate school and is happy that her work at Kaplan is helping others achieve their dreams and build their own futures, one success story at a time!
