NW-SCORE

Data Requests

All requests for use of NW-SCORE data must be reviewed and approved by the Leadership Committee. Outside collaborators who would like to use the data from NW-SCORE should submit a Concept Proposal Form to cascreen@uw.edu. To ensure scientific integrity and data security, all research proposals are required to have a Co-Investigator from the Leadership Team. Discussion with a member of the NW-SCORE Leadership Team is strongly encouraged prior to completing the form. The Leadership Committee will meet to review and discuss each research proposal. Research requests will be approved based on the following criteria:

  • Research goals and/or hypotheses consistent with the NW-SCORE goals and not overlapping currently approved projects;
  • Adequate protections of privacy and confidentiality of patients, radiologists, and facilities;
  • Approval from an Institutional Review Board if requesting release of individual-level data;
  • Qualification of proposal investigators;
  • Feasibility of timeline for project completion;
  • Feasibility of research goals with NW-SCORE data;
  • Adequate funding to support NW-SCORE to pull and/or analyze the data as needed.

Data Analysis

Projects that require assistance with data analysis may incur a fee, which can be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
