Network Partners
NW-SCORE relies on community partners from across the Pacific Northwest. Community practices and institutions that partner with NW-SCORE can expect important benefits:
• Tailored annual performance reports with comparisons to regional aggregate data on cancer screening measures. These include false negative rates from interval cancers, which is information only available through state tumor registry linkage. Data are comprehensive at the individual level, summing radiologist performance across different facilities, a marked improvement over facility-level MQSA audit data.
• Fulfillment of PQI (practice quality improvement) project requirements for the American Board of Radiology and American Board of Pathology maintenance of certifications. Documentation of involvement in the regional cancer screening network will be provided if any participating
radiologist or pathologist is audited by the ABR or the ABPath.
• Publicity for being a partner in NW-SCORE and acknowledgement in future NIH grants that result from the aggregate data use.
• Opportunities for partnered research as a co-investigator using de-identified aggregate screening data for those interested in population health research.
