The horse managed to pull through and stood without falling over.  Very softly, Father said, "Oh, now the golden hill has stuck out its hand - thank you very much."  And then Watch over us, Golden Hill was what he always said

Father didn't end up writing down on paper the words that were in his head.  He whispered them upon the earth and the water. How might I hear my father's oratory being read from the landscape, other than by penetrating the language of earth and water?
