Biography

Dr. Weaver attended college at the University of Oregon and medical school at Yale University, where he also completed residency in Otolaryngology--Head & Neck Surgery. He then completed the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program and a Masters degree in health services research at the University of Washington. He joined the full-time faculty in 2000, focusing his clinical efforts on the surgical care of sleep disordered breathing (snoring and sleep apnea) at the UW Sleep Disorders Center at Harborview Medical Center. He also practices general otolaryngology at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System at American Lake and Seattle. Dr. Weaver studies treatment outcomes and health services in otolaryngology, with a special interest in sleep apnea, as an investigator in the UW Center for Cost & Outcomes Research.
