MCAT and DAT Preparation
The next scheduled MCAT opportunity for HPA scholars in partnership with the Instructional Center (IC) is tentatively scheduled for June 18, 2018 – August 10, 2018. A stipend is provided for this course.
The next scheduled MCAT opportunity for HPA scholars in partnership with Kaplan is tentatively scheduled for January – February 2019. HPA covers the cost of enrollment in this course.
The MCAT (Medical College Admissions Test) and the DAT (Dental Admissions Test) are national standardized tests that have been designed to measure the test takers knowledge and abilities in areas pertinent to medical and dental education. They are high stakes tests, and it is important for HPA scholars to be adequately prepared for them.
While there is no substitute for doing well in all of one’s classes leading up to taking the test, there is value in participating in a structured program to help scholars prepare for the test and learn important test-taking skills. The HPA has partnered with the Instructional Center (IC) and Kaplan to provide structured Test Prep Classes for the MCAT and DAT. HPA covers the cost of enrollment in all courses provided.
If you are interested in signing up for any of these courses listed, please contact Holly and watch for notifications on the HPA Scholar Canvas Site.
