Directions:
By
Bus: The Metro busses #66 and #67 stop by the
UW Medical Clinic building on Roosevelt, which is the building next
to ours. Bus #43 and Bus #44 stop on NE 45th and Roosevelt.
From there you can walk South on Roosevelt Way NE about 1 and a
half blocks to our building. Our building is located on the West
side of the street just north of NE 42nd St., across the street
from the University Inn. Once you're inside the foyer, look to the
left. The sign on the door to Suite 100 read: Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences.
Buses
#7, #9, #25, #68, #70, #71, #72, #73, #74, #75 (from downtown
and from the north end) all stop on Campus Parkway, which is just
2 short blocks from our building. From the bus stop walk north on
11th NE or Brooklyn NE. Turn left at NE 42nd Street and walk east
to Roosevelt. Cross Roosevelt at the NE 42nd crosswalk. Our building
is just to the south, or to your left.
By
Car: If you are driving and coming from the North or the South,
take I-5 to the 45th Street exit, travel East (this would be a right
hand turn if you are coming north and a left hand turn if you are
coming south) on 45th until you reach Roosevelt Way NE (two blocks).
There is a 76 gas station on the right hand corner. You will turn
right on Roosvelt, a one-way street going South. Get into the right
hand lane as you are traveling South. Our building is located across
the street from the University Inn at NE 42nd Street. Turn right
at the next corner which is NE 41st, then turn right again at the
next corner so that you are heading north on 9th Avenue (a one-way
street). Turn right into the parking garage in the back of the building.
Go
up the stairs on the loading dock in the parking lot to the intercom
by the back door and follow the instructions for entering the building
posted there.
If
the parking lot is full, there is usually street parking on Roosevelt
or any of the streets east of Roosevelt in the evening. If you park
on the street, come into the front of the building as described
for people taking the bus.
