FAST FACTS: Ports, Movement of Goods, and Community Health is a one-page handout that was developed for one of the Uncorking Ethics Forums hosted by our Community Outreach and Ethics Core in 2009. It provides information for a general audience about activities at ports in Seattle and around the U.S. and how they might impact public health. The handout also includes short descriptions of five CEEH investigators and their work related to ports and movement of goods, as well as a list of ways to get involved and be part of the solution to this growing problem. |

CEEH Outreach & Public Engagement Survey: A Summary of Results presents the finding from a survey of CEEH Investigators conducted in 2008. The survey provided Outreach staff and CEEH Directors with a snapshot of the many ways in which Center investigators were sharing their work with a wide range of stakeholders and policy-makers, helping our Outreach Core better target their efforts to support this aspect of the Center's mission. Summary of the Symposium on Genetic Variation and Gene Environment Interaction in Human Health and Disease. This is a summary of a meeting held in 2003 and hosted by the NIEHS and other NIH Institutes. The 11-page document includes summaries of presentations by three CEEH-affiliated researchers (Clement Furlong, Deborah Nickerson, and Mary-Claire King) and provides a great introduction to a range of topics in Ecogenetics research. |

The Asian and Pacific Islander Seafood Consumption Study was a joint project of the CEEH and US EPA. This 75-page document published in 1999 presents the complete results of the study, one of the first of its kind and still a useful resource for scientists and communities interested in issues of seafood contamination, subsistence fishing, and environmental justice issues. |
