Institute for Scholarship on Engineering Education: ISEE Scholars

During three year-long Institute cycles (2004-2007), ISEE built a community of 49 engineering education researchers representing 20 institutions around the U.S. including core local groups on the three CAEE host campuses.

Scholars at Howard University Institute
The ISEE Scholars were a diverse group: twenty (40%) were women and 17 (36%) were underrepresented minorities. All academic ranks along with other institutional roles were represented. Among the Scholars were 6 full professors, 12 associate professors, 9 assistant professors, 13 graduate students, and 9 staff members, including administrators and advisors.

Although formal Institute activity ended in 2007, the ISEE Scholars continue to conduct educational research, impact engineering students, and network with the engineering education community at local and national levels. The Scholars are listed with their institutional affiliation at the time of their participation in ISEE.
