CENTC Summer Schools

The 2008 CENTC Summer School on Organometallic Catalysis was held July 20-25 at the University of Washington in Seattle. The goal of the 2008 Summer School was to give participants the opportunity to discover recent applications of organometallic chemistry and related disciplines, such as enzymatic catalysis. Instructors from industry and academia who have been directly involved in recent discoveries and commercialization of processes using organometallic catalysts were invited to speak and lead discussion panels. Advanced students, early-career researchers and faculty members were invited to learn about the interrelations between different kinds of catalysis and how to approach complex problems.
