Jasmine Bryant - University of Washington

Jasmine Bryant is the Director of Communications for CENTC and works to communicate CENTC research to the public. She has been with CENTC / CATSB since October 2004 in a variety of roles. She has a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Washington (with CENTC investigator James Mayer), a Master's in Teaching from Seattle University and a B.S. in Chemistry from the California Institute of Technology. In her free time, Jasmine serves as the President of the Caltech Alumni Association Board of Directors, enjoys kayaking, cooking, reading and spending time with her husband and two young children. 

Nadine Gruhn - University of Washington

As Managing Director Nadine Gruhn oversees the administrative and day-to-day management of the Center. Nadine came to CENTC after spending 12 years at the University of Arizona as Director of the Center for Gas-Phase Electron Spectroscopy, a multi-user, shared instrumentation facility. Nadine received her B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Nebraska and Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry under the direction of Dennis Lichtenberger at the University of Arizona. She spent a year at Indiana University as a postdoctoral fellow working with Malcolm Chisholm. In her free time Nadine is an avid p-patch gardener and is enjoying exploring the hiking trails and wineries around the Puget Sound.
 

Imran Peerbhai - University of Washington

Imran Peerbhai is the IT Project Manager for the center.  Imran came to CENTC after spending 10 years at Microsoft corporation, with experience in application lifecycle engineering, program management, and engineering services management.  Prior to his time at Microsoft, Imran attended the University of Massachusetts where he majored in management information systems, and is currently pursuing a degree in economics.  In his spare time, Imran likes to draw, go hiking, and experiment with embedded systems. 
 

Eve Perara - University of Washington

As Director of Diversity, Education and Outreach, Eve Perara coordinates programs that educate and inform the general public, impact K-12 education and facilitate development of a representative work-force in the chemistry professions. Eve is a Seattle-area native with a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Washington. She earned her Ph.D. in Physiology at University of California, San Francisco and was on the Biology faculty at San Francisco State. In Seattle, prior to joining CENTC, she was a volunteer in science education and youth soccer. She enjoys the outdoors, traveling with her family, gardening and soccer.
 

Adrianna Rothenbuecher - University of Washington

Adrianna’s primary responsibilities as Assistant to the Director at CENTC are managing subcontract budgets, event planning, travel and monitoring the center’s financials. Adrianna began working at the University of Washington in the Department of Chemistry in 2005 in the front office. She then supported CENTC Professors Goldberg, Heinekey and Mayer before transitioning into her current Assistant to the Director position. She has a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of California at Davis. In addition, she has pursued post graduate study in Epidemiology, Public Health and Statistics. Adrianna enjoys spending time in Montana, hiking, traveling and yoga.
