La Raza Graduation

La Raza Graduation is an annual event hosted by the ASUW La Raza Commission and the Office of Minority Affairs and Diversity. This bilingual celebration is an opportunity for Latino/a, Chicano/a and all graduates from a variety of world views to celebrate Nuestra Exito!

Tickets Required?

Yes, you must register for the event as a participating graduate and tickets for student participants and their families can be picked up at the Kelly Ethnic Cultural Center front desk during the week of graduation.

Cap and Gown Required?

No. Academic apparel is not required garb at this event, but graduates may wear their academic apparel if they wish too. Participants at this event are REQUIRED to wear semi-formal dress. (i.e. dresses, slacks, skirts, dress shirts, etc.)

Event Parking

If you wish to park on campus, pre-paid parking permits will be required for this event. Students should purchase these permits for themselves and their guests through the order form , May 7 to May 25, 2014.
