The Physics and Astronomy Departments hold a joint reception for graduating students. At 3:30pm join us in the Physics/Astronomy Auditorium for a light reception followed by a recognition ceremony. We expect the event to end around 6 p.m. A planetarium show and physics demos will be available prior to the celebration. Details and tickets can be found on the Astronomy Department website.
Parking permits should be purchased in advance through the commencement website.
Graduating Physics Majors will need to access an online catalyst site using their MyUW log-in information. That bibliographic information will be read aloud at the Physics Dept's event. Only the graduate may access that cite for security reasons.

4 tickets will be distributed to those who RSVP by the date of the invitation. Any "extra tickets" will be given out to those on a Wait List.
Cap and Gown Required?
Caps and Gowns are optional. Dress attire requested.
