La Raza Graduation Celebration

La Raza Graduation is a celebration of comunidad commemorating the accomplishments of graduating undergraduate and graduate students who identify as part of the Chicano/Latino community at the University of Washington. This is a celebration that pays homage to the multi-ethnic and multi-identity communities from which our graduating students hail. This event features a recognition of the graduates in a partially bilingual ceremony, with music, a keynote and reception for the graduates and their guests. All are welcome to attend, but priority space will be given to those with a ticket for the event.

Tickets Required?

Yes, each student is allotted up to 4 tickets and can request more if needed on a space available basis.

Cap and Gown Required?

Academic apparel is preferred, though not required. All graduating students are encouraged to participate regardless of regalia.

Event Parking

If you wish to park on campus, pre-paid parking permits will be required for this event. Students should purchase these permits for themselves and their guests through the order form , May 6 to May 24, 2015.
