Dr. Montano received her MPH at the UW and has collaborated with Dr. Joseph Zunt in neuroepidemiologic research of retroviral infections, epilepsy and neurocystosis since 1996. She has been co-director of the UW-Peru site for the NIH Fogarty/Ellison and FICRS-F Programs, and has co-directed all UW-sponsored medical students and resident elective activities in Peru.
