STI TM CRC Mission

• to plan and coordinate the University of Washington research effort on sexually transmitted infections.
• to promote research collaboration with collaborating scientists at the University of Nairobi and Oregon State University
• to conduct basic and clinical research on STIs, particularly chlamydial and gonococcal infection, pelvic inflammatory disease, and human papillomavirus infection.
