Clinical Research Core/HIV Specimen Repository
Mission
The Clinical Core supports clinical HIV research in the Pacific Northwest region through:
- Support recruitment into clinical and pathogenesis research by triage and referral of HIV-infected patients through a dedicated research nurse at the Harborview and University of Washington HIV clinics.
- Promote translational HIV research through use of the HIV Specimen Repository containing well characterized plasma and PBMC specimens linked to extensive clinical data
