Stipends are paid at the NIH NRSA stipend level for the fiscal year during in which the trainee starts his/her appointment, or is reappointed. Postdoctoral stipends are commensurate with the number of years of postdoctoral experience. Current stipend levels can be found at the following URL.

Supplementation of pre and postdoctoral stipends from non-federal funds may be provided by the mentor or appointing department. With permission of the training grant director, additional work may be supported by federal funds. These arrangements are not arranged through this fellowship program.

Pre and postdoctoral positions provide partial support for medical and dental benefits for trainees. Mentors or departments/divisions are responsible for the remaining balance.

Tuition is supported for predoctoral fellows to the extent possible by the training grant budget. Postdoctoral trainees wishing to obtain an MPH or other degrees should contact the Program Director.
