Dr. Ir. Bakri, M.Sc |
Bakri is a faculty member at Faculty of Forestry, Hasanuddin
University, Indonesia, since 1988. He earned his bachelor degree in
Forestry at Hasanuddin University – Indonesia in1986, Master degree
in Forest Products at University of Idaho - USA in 1994, and
Doctoral degree in Forest Products at Hasanuddin University –
Indonesia in 2010. In his academic career, he promoted by the Tanabe
Foundation Japan to join a training course of wood processing in
Japan in 2006, funded by DIKTI to enroll 1 semester of continuing
education as a non degree student at University of Idaho – USA in
2008, and granted by JSPS to attend young researcher program at
Ehime University – Japan in 2011. In 2012, he was granted by
Fulbright as Visiting Scholar at University of Washington – USA.
DIKTI funded his some researches in 1995, 2004, 2009,and 2010. He
holds an award of 20 years educational services honored by President
of Republic of Indonesia.
Bakri has been positioned in his Faculty as Head of Sawmill
Laboratory at Dept. of Forestry in 2000 to 2000, Secretary of Field
Research at Dept. of Forestry in1997 to 2001, and Secretary of
Quality Development and Control at Dept. of Forestry in 2003 to
2006. In his professional career, he was pointed as Secretary of
Community Forest Development in South Sulawesi under collaboration
of Ford Foundation and UNHAS in 2002 to 2004 and involved as
Assessor of APHI for pre-implementation of eco-label to the
Indonesia’s Forest Concession in 1996 to1998. He is a member of
Indonesian Wood Researcher Society and Indonesian Forest Products
Forum.
Bakri has published some journal articles reflecting his research
interest in Wood (other lignocellulosic materials) – Cement
Composite, Composite Board, and Wood (other lignocellulosic
materials) - Based Panels.
