Graduated from the Faculty of Animal Science, University of
Andalas, Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia with a Sarjana degree in
1987, and completed her Master and Ph.D degrees in University of
Andalas Padang, Indonesia in 1992 and 2007. In 2002 to 2003 she got
scholarship for Ph.D student from Association International
Education Japan (AIEJ) in Shimane University, Matsue, Japan. She is
currently a Lecturer at the Faculty of Animal Science, University of
Andalas, Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia. Her area research interest
is in the processing and utilization of agriculture wastes/by-
products for poultry feeds. She teach poultry nutrition
biochemistry, and Microbiology.
Some of her research projects were funded by Directorate General of
Higher Education (DIKTI), Ministry of National Education of the
Republic of Indonesia. In 2006 to 2008 she worked in HIBAH BERSAING
Project, in 2009 to 2010, she got Foreign Research Cooperation and
International Publication Project which collaboration with
University of Kinki in Japan, in 2010 to 2012 she worked as
co-researcher for Foreign Research Cooperation and International
Publication Project which collaboration with Texas A&M University in
Texas, U.S.A. Now, she is working as co-researcher in MP3I project.
In 2007 to 2008 her research also funded by Ministry of Research and
Technology Indonesia in intensify basic research program and food
protection.
In 2010 she attended the International seminar for Chitosan and
Chitinase arranged by Japan Chitosan Association in Tokyo
University. In 2011 she attended the Poultry International Seminar
in Sydney University which arranged by World Poultry Science
Association, Australia branch.
She has married and have two daughters.
