About Us: The UW Center for Genomics & Public Health

The Center for Genomics and Public Health, directed by Karen L. Edwards, PhD, is funded by a grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The mission of the Center for Genomics and Public Health is to integrate genomics into public health practice. We accomplish this by providing educational resources to state public health agencies and practitioners, and the public.

The Center is affiliated with the School of Public Health at the University of Washington.
