Information and commentary on discoveries of genetic variants, related disease outcomes, and the complex social, legal, and ethical issues surrounding genetic discoveries. The series was a monthly collaboration by the CDC Office of Public Health Genomics and the National Cancer Institute.

An on-line 45 minute introductory presentation on genomics and public health intended to give public health practitioners an overview of genomics and examples of how it is relevant to public health.

Six Weeks to Genomics Awareness
This self-paced, web-based series was designed to provide public health professionals with a foundation for understanding genomic advances and identifying the relevance of genomics to public health.
