The CHASE Alliance and MarketScan Research Databases
The CHASE Alliance possesses the Thomson Reuters MarketScan® Commercial Claims and Encounters and Medicare Supplemental Databases from 2007-2010 (2011 data will arrive later this year). These databases provide researchers access to fully integrated, de-identified, individual-level healthcare claims data to understand health economics and treatment outcomes. These databases include the healthcare experience of over 34 million enrollees (annually) with data from 150 contributing employers and 13 contributing health plans.
See the MarketScan white paper for additional detail on MarketScan databases. .
