This information is for participants already registered for a Chautauqua course at the University of Washington, or for those who will be registering.

Courses scheduled in Seattle will take place on the campus of the University of Washington in rooms that will be indicated by your course director.  Most courses will meet beginning at 8:30 AM on the first day and conclude by 4 PM on the last day.  Travel and lodging for your participation in this course are to be arranged and paid by you.

To be here in time for your 8:30 AM course start, and if you are coming by air, you will need to arrive the day before the course starts. Fly to Sea-Tac International Airport.

Please note that since the classes end at 4 p.m. on the final class day, it may be too late to fly east that evening but feel free to check with your air carrier. 4 p.m. is rush hour so you should leave at least 2 hours to make it to the airport!  Shuttle Express can pick you up on campus if you wish.  It is easiest to tell them to pick you up at either the UW hospital or in front of your dorm.

Welcome again to our program.  Please feel free to address any questions to me or your course director.

Sincerely,

Tony Irving, Director
