Hotel accommodations at discounted rates may be available at the facilities listed below. Be sure to mention that you will be attending a University of Washington program. Dorm rooms on the University of Washington campus are also alternatively available for most Chautauqua courses.

UNIVERSITY DISTRICT LODGING INFORMATION

The hotels in the University District are approximately seven miles to downtown Seattle. The hotels are located near I-5 freeway and are close to direct bus lines to downtown. All hotels are within walking distance to U-District shops, restaurants, cinemas and tourist attractions.

Approximately 25 minutes walk (or 15 minutes by bicycle) from campus course venues. University Village Shopping Mall is nearby. Indoor pool, spa, fitness center, guest laundry, and free on-site parking. Refrigerators and microwaves in all rooms; a room with a kitchen has kitchen utensils. Continental breakfast included.

Approximately 20-25 minutes walk (or 10 minutes by bicycle) from campus course venues. University Village Shopping Mall is nearby. Free on-site parking. University rates for standard room are $57-67/night plus tax. The Travelodge also has fully furnished one- and two-bedroom apartments with equipped kitchens; monthly rates are available.

Approximately 15 minutes walk from campus course venues. Restaurant, fitness room, a seasonal heated outdoor pool, spa, guest laundry, and free on-site parking. The standard room with kitchen facilities has a microwave, coffeemaker, small refrigerator and kitchen utensils. Continental breakfast included.

Approximately 5 minutes walk from campus course venues. A 1909 European style B&B on the National Register of Historic Places; simple period furnishings; separate bathrooms for men and women are "down the hall". Room rates start at $48.85 per night (single) including continental breakfast and tax. Visa & MC accepted. American Express is not accepted.

University rates are available only to official University of Washington visitors; these rates are subject to change without notice.

Room prices range from $48 - $110 single/double and are subject to additional state and local taxes totaling 15.6%.
