BOL use approval process

1. Initial consult - before submitting grant if possible
   • discuss needs and length of study Sally Schuh
2. Technical and scheduling review—determine:
   • study's physical/equipment needs (e.g., recording room capabilities, sufficient number of trained staff)
   • identify possible conflicts and initiate modifications if needed (e.g., time preferences, number of subjects)
3. Work order signed by the PI
   • verification/tracking method
   • budget information (NICHD authorized)
4. Camera/equipment operators MUST be certified
5. Project schedulers MUST be certified
6. Schedule pilot/study visits
