Neuroscience Core |
The Neuroscience Core provides research
support—both facilities and technical expertise—for
a large group of Research Affiliates working in areas of developmental
neuroscience. Included in this Core is access to equipment and
technical support for work ranging from routine light microscopy
and immunocytochemistry of large brain regions to quantitative
morphometry of neuronal and glial elements to sophisticated ultra
structural analysis. We also support in vivo brain imaging
including electrophysiological research with a variety of modalities
and technical expertise. All components of the Neuroscience Core
are designed both to help introduce affiliates to the advantages
(and pitfalls) of useful technologies and to provide expert technical
guidance for experienced neuroscientists. Services are organized
under two main components:
The
Cellular Morphology component of the
Neuroscience Core
The Brain Imaging component of
the Neuroscience Core
