Dr. Connor

Dr. Connor's research centers on the neuropsychological, neuroimaging, and mental health assessment of the effects of prenatal alcohol exposure, especially where fetal alcohol syndrome (FAS) or alcohol-related neurodevelopmental disorders (ARND) has been clinically diagnosed.

Research projects include a functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) study of cognitive activation in FAS/ARND, structural MRI and neuropsychological functioning in FAS/ARND, and a longitudinal neuropsychological and mental health follow-up from birth of a large group of subjects, now adults, who were prenatally exposed to alcohol.
