Hazards:

Methanol is flammable.
Chemicals and Solutions:
methanol 100 ml
ammonium hydroxide 1M
HCl conc. in dropper bottle
Materials:
Mortar and pestle
250 ml beaker
magnetic stirrer
buret stand and buret
rose petals
Procedure:
Mix methanol and rose petals in the mortar. Add 2-3 drops HCl, stir, and decant the liquid into a beaker. Place the beaker on the magnetic stirrer and titrate with the ammonium hydroxide.
