Good Bye 750 !

On 27th July 2011, Wednesday, this highest field instrument that served the department for couple of decades, had been decommissioned. The ageing magnet had become unstable, prompting for a viable alternative. We have bid farewell to this venerable companion of our facility with gratitude. But we are happy to announce that a truly state of the art 800 MHz high resolution NMR system equipped with a cryo-cooled probehead that boasts unprecedented sensitivity thus far available at our facility, will be replacing this system sometime in the fall of 2011. Stay tuned for more updates
