The DPX-200 was purchased primarily to provide modern FTNMR access for undergraduate teaching. The Bruker DPX console has the following capabilities:
- Spectrospin 4.7 T superconducting magnet
- RedHat EL v4 NMR host workstation
- 2 channel operation, with one channel being fixed at 1H.
- BOSS-1 20 channel shim system.
- BVT-2000 Eurotherm VT
- Bruker Topspin 1.3 software
