Department of Chemistry
X-ray diffraction studies are assisting the in characterization of new compounds. The Chemistry Department X-ray diffraction facility provides the resources and professional help for determining the atomic structures of "small molecules".
We try to do structures on a 60 hours basis (2 1/2 days), counted from receiving the sample to returning the final, publishable report with all documentary information. We accept applications from outside campus and offer confidentiality or can arrange for a non-disclosure agreement.
You may view current X-ray activities via webcams.
