Department of ChemistryThe Department of Chemistry Mentoring Program provides a professional development opportunity for chemistry graduate students by pairing them with professionals in their field of interest. Mentors do not supplant or replace academic research advisers. Rather, mentors offer the opportunity to connect informally, and to discuss personal, educational, and professional issues. Mentors provide advice when asked, but they do not formally advise. Whether you are a new student or are about to enter the job market, a mentor can help you make informed decisions about your future.
