Photonics Seminars

A seminar series with presentations held twice each month and involving the multidisciplinary photonics research community at the University of Washington.  The faculty photonics seminar series is generally scheduled for the second Friday of each month.  The graduate student/postdoc seminar series is usually held the fourth Friday of each month and is billed as "Pizza, Pop and Photonics," with pizza and pop served.  At each of the faculty and graduate student/postdoc events, two speakers each present a 20-minute description of their current research activity, with discussion following.  All seminars are held from 12 noon to 1 PM in CHB 102.  Faculty, postdocs and graduate students from any department (including physics, chemistry, engineering and materials science) who are interested in photonics are encouraged to participate.  Contact: jrsmall@u.washington.edu
