EPA Terminology Reference System (TRS): has been created to provide a single source of general terminology for the Agency by incorporating glossary entries from Terms of the Environment (http://www.epa.gov/OCEPAterms) with other EPA sources, as well as with non-EPA environmentally-related terminology sources. http://www.epa.gov/trs/

EPA's Chemical Registry System: Find info about a chemical; search regulations to see what chemical substances they regulate by the EPA. http://www.epa.gov/crs/

Canadian Sustainable Forestry Certification Coalition: The Coalition’s goal is to promote the use of sustainable forest management standards, nationally through the Canadian Standards Association and internationally through the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), in order to continually strive toward sustainable forest management, secure a sustainable supply of forest products, and ensure support for our practices at home and abroad. http://www.sfms.com/

Earth Island Institute: Innovative Action for the Environment: Earth Island Institute (EII), founded in 1982, provides activists the freedom to develop program ideas, supported by services to help them pursue those ideas, with a minimum of bureaucracy. Its more than 30 projects (to date) cover protecting rainforests, promoting ecological paper alternatives, and pursuing community-based habitat restoration, among many other related areas. http://www.earthisland.org

Ecoforestry Institute: The Ecoforestry Institute is dedicated to the art, science, philosophy, and practice of sustainable forest in healthy forests. Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations FAO is the largest specialized agency in the United Nations system and the lead agency for agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and rural development. Forest Service Employees for Environmental Ethics (FSEEE): The FSEEEE is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to forge a socially responsible value system for the Forest Service based on a land ethic that ensures ecologically and economically sustainable resource management.
