• Look through this website and schedule an advising appointment or attend an Info Session to discuss whether you and CHID are a good fit.  You can contact CHID at chid@u.washington.edu or 206-543-7333 (general) or 206-543-2097 (advising).  At the appointment, you and the adviser will discuss your interests, the CHID requirements, and your coursework.

• Register for the New Majors Focus Group (CHID 496B).

• Consider taking a "Group A" ("Introduction to the History of Ideas") course next quarter - they're good introductions to the CHID program, and you'll need two to graduate with a CHID major.  See the Courses page for information.
