• CHIDchat.  CHID's informal e-mail-based discussion and information forum for students, staff, faculty, alumni, and friends.  Click here for subscription information and options.

• The Lounge.  Padelford Hall #C101 is the CHID Lounge.  It offers a free-access library, ample studying/lounging furniture, and several computers available for student use.  Many CHID activities and Focus Groups take place in the Lounge.  For access to the door code, please visit the CHID Office in Padelford B102.

• Computers and technology.  As a CHID student, you may use computers in the CHID Office (Padelford B102) and the CHID Lounge (Padelford C101).  CHID also has scanners, video cameras, and updated software for student projects.  Please visit the CHID Office (Padelford B102) or call 206 543 7333 for more information.

• WS/AES/CHID Writing Center.  In conjunction with Women Studies and American Ethnic Studies, the Comparative History of Ideas Program offers a Writing Center for undergraduates who wish to work individually with writing tutors.  To sign up for an appointment or for more on information, visit the Writing Center's webpage.
