Hannah Junkerman graduated from Wesleyan University in 2008 with a dual degree in Government and French Studies, with honors. During her undergraduate years, Hannah studied in Paris with the Vassar-Wesleyan Program and served as a Senior Interviewer for the Wesleyan Office of Admission. Upon graduation, she took a job organizing and leading international educational tours for Stanford Travel/Study, a program of the Stanford Alumni Association, with whom she traveled to over 17 countries. Hannah is currently living in Alsace, France, where she is an assistant English teacher. In the fall of 2011, she will enter the New York University School of Law as a member of the class of 2014. This text is an adaptation of her senior thesis project, written for the French Department.
