Theron Paul Stevenson is the Director of International Programs for CHID, Assistant Director of the Clowes Center for the Study of Conflict and Dialogue, and a graduate student in Geography. He graduated from the CHID program in 2002. His research interests include the role of nature parks and monuments in defining national identities, ethnic nationalism and conflict in the former Yugoslavia and Ireland, and policing in post-conflict areas.
As CHID’s Director of International Programs, Theron’s work is to physically and intellectually displace students so that they can empathize with different worldviews and better understand their own places and positions.
