Course Review and Assessment

CIDR staff are available to help you systematically review and assess your course. Consultants can help you consider appropriate Sources of Data for Assessment of Teaching, and work with you to design and implement a plan for assessment.

Consultants can help you make use of assessment data as you design your course, while you are teaching the course, and also at the completion of the course as you evaluate impact and make decisions about the next time you teach.

CIDR staff can contribute to course assessment in a variety of ways, such as collecting midterm student feedback, meeting with you to review a videotaped class session, or conducting a classroom observation. CIDR staff are also available to assist in interpreting student feedback and analyzing your student ratings.

If you would like to talk to a CIDR consultant about planning, implementing, or learning from a course assessment, call 206-543-6588, or contact us by email to arrange an appointment.
