Teaching Portfolio Development

CIDR assists faculty and TAs from departments, colleges, and schools throughout the university in the development of their teaching portfolios.

CIDR staff work on a number of levels: providing introductory workshops and hands-on experience developing teaching portfolios, and working individually with faculty and TAs to draft and revise teaching statements and portfolios.

In addition to providing workshops and individual consultations, CIDR has collected a variety of online resources and examples related to developing a teaching portfolio,

CIDR 's Reading Room contains a collection of books and articles on teaching portfolios and a collection of sample teaching portfolios from UW TAs and faculty. The Reading Room is open weekdays 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in 423E Sieg.

To request CIDR services on teaching portfolios, call 206-543-6588, or contact us by email to arrange an appointment.
