The CIDResource List is used to send out monthly announcements about teaching and learning resources available at CIDR. This page gives you a brief description of the list, and also lets you know how you can sign up:
What is the purpose of this list?
CIDR is regularly developing new resources for teaching and distributing them through our web site and campus events. This list will be used to let you know about CIDR resources on a regular basis.
How often will I receive messages through this list?
The list will be used for monthly announcements from CIDR. Only CIDR will be able to post to the list, so you will not receive other messages through this list besides these monthly announcements from CIDR.
What will the messages contain?
Messages will typically feature brief summaries of 1-2 CIDR resources, with links to a more complete version of the announcement or resource on the CIDR web site. Featured resources might include:
- New issues of the CIDR Teaching and Learning Bulletin
- Timely reminders of CIDR services such as Consulting on Course Design or arranging for Midterm Student Feedback
- CIDR web materials such as the Syllabus Planning Guide, Understanding and Using Your Student Ratings, and the Threatening Classroom Situations web guide
- Upcoming CIDR events such as the Quarterly Forum and the Annual Teaching and Learning Symposium
The CIDResouce list is administered through UW Computing and Communications. To sign up, visit the CIDResource Info Page.
Announcements from CIDResource are also available through RSS feed.
