CIDR Reading Room

You are welcome to stop by CIDR’s Reading Room in 100 Gerberding Hall and browse our Resource Collection of books, periodicals, and videos on teaching and learning.

The Resource Collection includes materials on teaching and learning, assessment, TA preparation, teaching portfolios, and more.  It also includes materials on teaching in specific disciplines such as math, science, engineering, and the humanities.

As part of the Resource Collection, CIDR maintains a collection of materials on diversity and multiculturalism, funded in part by the UW Center for Curriculum Transformation.  This collection focuses on incorporating diversity through classroom practices and curriculum transformation. It also includes literary, historical, and fiction titles.

Materials in CIDR's Resource Collection are also available for loan to UW departments, faculty, TAs, and staff. Visit CIDR's main office, 100 Gerberding Hall, to find out more about borrowing materials from the collection.

The Reading Room is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
